AI privacy gate
Every AI request passes through a PII scrubbing gate before it leaves Caira. Identifiers are tokenized or removed; only classroom observations needed for drafting logs and narratives are sent — and always under staff review before parents receive anything.
Before AI
Child names are replaced with opaque tokens. Emails, phone numbers, and other identifiers are stripped.
During AI
Only scrubbed classroom observations reach Google Vertex AI — within our GCP environment, not public model training.
After AI
Responses pass safety checks. Names are restored inside Caira only. Staff review every output before families see it.
